Hey all
I didnt forget about you, its just been super busy between school and work. I have been loving every minute of truck driving school. We have done a lot of classroom, material and im glad the classroom is over and we move on to The real fun that starts monday when we go to the range. I cant wait to go to the range. We had a few tests this week, I passed them all highest grade in the class! My average for all tests we have taken is a 96.33% (yay me). I cant wait to get out of the bowling business. Too much BS.
I have been in contact with many recruiters from various companies. Man I will tell you one thing if you dont call them they wont call you. If any of you are applying to any trucking company make sure you followup about your application. I called 3 companies today about my apps, and followup goes a long way I should hear something from them sometime nextweek.
So far the list of prehires pending the completion of trucking school includes
Swift
Maverick
Werner
And list of companies Im waiting on a response from:
USA Truck
PAM Transport/Decker
US Xpress
TMC
Hopefully I will hear something from werner today, and the rest of them early next week.
Well Anyways I gotta grab a bite to eat and get going to work.
Im counting the days, and each day that passes by the smile and anticipation increases

Hey mike,Great Job. Keep working hard and you'll be very happy. Based on your location look into maverick for van and flat bed also tmc for flatbed if thats the way you want to go. Keep your options open and dont stop looking. I started my new job monday. I'm training this week and some of next then I'll be doing line haul. 404 miles a night 35cpm plus 4 hrs hourly a night. I should make over a grand a week. M-F.

If you want an ironclad assurance that products or parcels will be delivered on time, some trucking companies can offer you such a deal, but at an extra cost. Even if you have no need to avail of this option now, its still better to ask the trucking company representative about such services just in case you get to need them in the future.
